About Woodland Autosport

Woodland Autosport was created in 2015 by Richard “Dick” Woodland, Robert Woodland, Rich Woodland, and Patrick Woodland. The first race by the newly formed team was the 2016 Chili Bowl Nationals, one of the biggest and most prestigious dirt track races in the country featuring midget racing cars. The immediate goals of the team are to field a competitive midget at selected races throughout the country and provide our marketing partners with a professional and successful high speed marketing platform.

The Woodland family has been involved in racing in one form or another for over 70 years since Dick’s father, Fred, fielded a car in the 1940’s at the fairgrounds dirt track in Paso Robles, CA. With experience driving, owning, building, and marketing in the motorsports world, the Woodlands are excited to compete once again.
